We start by reviewing the site, grading and drainage, then design a layout that fits the home and the yard. Footings are sized and set below frost depth, framing is built square and properly supported, and all connections use the correct hardware. From there we install the decking, railings and stairs, whether you prefer low-maintenance composite or traditional wood.
Existing decks get the same attention. We inspect the structure, repair or replace damaged framing and boards, tighten railings and address the drainage and grading that cause premature rot. Serving New Jersey and Pennsylvania from Trenton, we protect the house and landscaping, clean the site daily and stand behind the finished work.

Composite costs more up front but needs less maintenance and resists fading, rot and splinters. Wood costs less initially but requires periodic staining and sealing. We review both based on your budget and how much maintenance you want.
Most residential decks take one to three weeks depending on size, stairs, railings and weather. Permits and inspections can add time, and we plan for them up front.
